Tuesday 1 July 2025 Racing Champion Karun Chandhok Inspires Brookmead School Pupils with ‘Drive to Victory’ Brookmead School had an exciting visitor today as former Formula 1 driver and author Karun Chandhok dropped in to chat with the children about his new book, Drive to Victory. The young pupils were thrilled to hear first-hand stories from Karun's racing career and learn what it takes to chase your dreams both on and off the track.

Sunday 23 June 2024 Oracy at Brookmead We are excited to launch a new initiative at Brookmead to enhance our children's oracy skills—the ability to speak fluently and grammatically.To support this, we are organizing "No Pens Day Wednesday" on 3rd July.On this day, students and teachers will follow their regular schedulebut without using pens, focusing instead on speaking and listeningactivities to develop their oracy. This event aims to improve verbalexpression, collaboration, and thoughtful listening, enriching bothacademic and personal growth.
